LAOA Holds Heritage Day Sewing Class

Staff members at Telecare’s Los Angeles Older Adult (LAOA) program are determined to make the best of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic.

They had originally planned to celebrate Heritage Day, and they did! However, they also used the time to learn how to sew. The team sewed their own masks to use on the frontlines. Administrator Analia Barroso says the extras will be given to members and other Telecare programs in need of masks.

We are proud of each and every one of our staff for doing whatever it takes in these trying times!
