San Diego MCRT Is a NACo Achievement Award Winner

The National Association of Counties (NACo) presents several awards recognizing outstanding county government initiatives and leaders.

More specifically, NACo's Achievement Awards program recognizes innovative county government programs in various categories, including arts and culture, community and economic development, health, human services, information technology, etc. These awards honor counties implementing successful and creative solutions to local challenges.

Telecare’s Regional Director of Operations Mary Woods, and San Diego MCRT Administrator Breawna Lane credited the Telecare IT team for helping to make this program as successful as it is!

“I can’t begin to say how supportive the IT team has been since MCRT's inception. The IT department has been an invaluable foundation for this critical crisis model. I have not seen a call center like ours replicated anywhere nationally to date. The design was creative and thoughtful, with a growth plan in place, which the program has already benefited from. I want to also note that despite IT already having a considerable workload, they have managed to support the program. We realize this is above and beyond, and we are very grateful. The award is reflective of the work you all have done, too.” - Mary and Breawna
