My name is Michelle Dabbs (she/her).

I am a Regional Director of Operations in Orange County. I’ve been at Telecare for 4 years.

In my role, I do a mix of things. The most important part of my role is demonstrating the mission and values of Telecare every day. I oversee dynamic programs in Orange County, TAO North, TAO Central, TAO South, Home First, Treehouse North, and Treehouse South. In my role, I monitor the overall functioning of all the programs I oversee and ensure the Program Administrators are meeting the objectives of the programs. I develop and maintain relationships with our customers, and ensure the programs are meeting the contractual obligations.

In my view, the best part of my job is interacting with the Administrators at the program and their teams.

What makes me really proud of my team and the work we do is that my entire team is committed to helping our members achieve their hopes and dreams by showing up every day and providing outstanding and intentional services.

When I’m having a tough day, the thing that keeps me going is that I start every day off by reading my daily devotional through my bible app, and listening to Pastor Rick Warren's podcast. When I walk into my office, I pull a daily motivational card and I post it right next to my daughter's picture so I can see it every day, all day. So when I am having a bad day, I remind myself that no matter what, God is with me and for me, and that I am right where I am supposed to be and I am enough.

My favorite quote is from my favorite book, the bible, and it is, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a future and hope." — Jeremiah 29:11. I live by this every day and I believe it with all my heart.

If I were going to describe Telecare in three words, they would be rewarding, supportive, and innovative.
