Inspiring Change: Telecare's Commitment to NAMIWalks

Telecare proudly sponsors the Annual NAMIWalk fundraiser, which supports mental health awareness and advocacy initiatives. Juanita, an enthusiastic Telecare Recovery Center at Gresham (TRC) employee, has signed up for NAMI Walks and created a fundraising page on NAMIWalks.org.

Juanita’s passion for the NAMIWalks event has inspired the TRC community, encouraging healthier diet and exercise habits among her colleagues. Her enthusiasm led to a friendly “steps” competition between TRC and Oregon ACT programs, which ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) ultimately won.

Juanita’s initiative and positive energy have resonated throughout Telecare’s Portland Metro area programs, inspiring others to join the movement toward NAMI. Meg Riley, Office Coordinator I at Telecare’s Multnomah CATC (Community Assessment and Treatment Center) program, leads the effort as the Telecare “Captain.”

Telecare celebrates Juanita, Meg, and all participants for their dedication to mental health advocacy and their commitment to positively impacting their communities through the NAMI Walks initiative.
