Telecare’s Orange County AOT Prioritizes Community Connections

Telecare’s Orange County AOT program prioritizes community advocacy and fostering positive client relationships. Aligned with Telecare’s values of Growth, Partnership, and Service, the programs actively participated in various community events throughout the year, including the 6th Annual Meet & Greet Job Fair sponsored by Wellness Center West.

Wellness Center West, a mental health support program run by peers, offers activities, groups, and support, along with linkage to education, employment, and volunteering opportunities. 

During the job fair, Orange County AOT’s Peers, including Lori Fischer and Lei Portugal Calloway, along with other community partners such as REI Pacific Clinics, Peer Voices of Orange County, Orange County Health Care Agency, and the Department of Rehab, actively engaged with attendees. They provide job opportunity flyers, information, and giveaways to support individuals’ career endeavors.

The event features various activities aimed at promoting community engagement and empowerment. Attendees participated in bingo, enjoyed lunch, and even attended a fashion show titled “How to Dress for Success.” Additionally, a raffle adds to the day’s excitement, allowing attendees to win prizes.

Telecare’s Orange County AOT demonstrates its commitment to supporting its clients’ holistic well-being and success through its active involvement in community events like the job fair. These initiatives provide valuable resources and opportunities within the community.
