Willow Rock Honors Black History Month

Telecare's Willow Rock program in San Leandro, CA, is taking the time this month to recognize Black History Month through an array of special activities for patients and staff. This initiative honors the African American experience and reflects its importance to society.

The program is offering a wide range of activities, such as sharing daily quotes to inspire and motivate, as well as an array of upcoming events that excite everyone.

Telecare has committed to elevating cultural diversity, humility, equity, and inclusion within its internal culture. To that end, Telecare has created a CHEI (Cultural Diversity, Humility, Equity, and Inclusion) committee to develop team-building exercises to increase understanding and unity across the organization. The committee has organized a month's worth of enjoyable activities for employees to connect on a deeper level with each other.

As we commemorate Black History Month in February, we're proud of our programs for providing room to celebrate and recognize the significance of this special event.
