Telecare Executives Visit Morton Bakar Center

Telecare's executive team recently paid a visit to Morton Bakar Center (MBC) in Hayward, California. Anne, President and CEO, Dawan, SVP and Senior Development Officer, and Duane, SVP of Human Resources wanted to commend the hardworking staff and program leaders for their extraordinary contributions and commitment to care throughout the COVID pandemic.

The team had an exciting tour ranging from meeting with clients at the program to eating delicious banana bread made by MBC's Dietary Director, Kishor Kumar.

We are grateful to the amazing team at MBC for their warm welcome and hospitality. It is inspiring to see the amazing staff prioritize recovery, act with compassion, and support our community.

About the Program

Morton Bakar Center is a skilled nursing facility located in Hayward, California. The program uses a recovery- and person-centered approach. Their multidisciplinary team focuses on helping older adults (65+) with a primary diagnosis of severe mental illness with psychosocial rehabilitation and skill-building support. Dedicated staff offers a variety of activities, such as creative expression through art therapy. The program continues to focus on its members' recovery in order to provide the best possible service.
