Morton Bakar Center Pep Rally & Mascot

Each year, we recognize National Nursing Home Week (this year, it runs from May 8 - 14). Our Skilled Nursing Facilities typically celebrate by hosting a spirit week to celebrate the wonderful work of their program staff.

In preparation for National Nursing Home Week 2022, and in honor of the national theme "creating and nurturing connections," Morton Bakar Center held a pep rally to get everyone hyped up and get ideas flowing!

There was a lively campaign between two potential mascots, both vying to represent the greater Morton Bakar Center team of staff and residents.

It was a very close vote; however, the eagle won! For Morton Bakar Center, the eagle represents courage, strength, hope, and vision. Let's go, Morton Bakar Center Eagles!
