Congratulations Erika Zimmerman, New Washington Administrator

The Telecare team is pleased to announce that Licensed Clinical Social Worker Erika Zimmerman has joined our King County Forensic Housing and Recovery Through Peer Services (FHARPS) and Forensic Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (FPATH) programs.

Erika Zimmerman comes to us from Cascade Behavioral Health. She provided leadership guidance for five teams in the program: social work, therapy, substance use professionals, court teams, and some inpatient teams. Erika has the skills and experience to lead a successful program with direct supervision, policy oversight, and strategic planning. She worked with the leadership team to develop goals aligned with the organization's overarching objectives. In addition to this, she also understands quality assurance through chart audits focusing on regulatory compliance.

She will oversee the King County FHARPS and FPATH programs that support services connecting adults with acute behavioral health disorders who need permanent housing support. Telecare operates the program in partnership with the Washington State Health Care Authority. The program intends to help people overcome the barriers of finding and keeping housing.

Erika dedicates herself to helping people with mental health concerns address challenges by providing mental health treatment in hospitals, jails, and prisons. Erika takes a participatory approach, which is conducive to her growth in her new leadership role. This will allow her to have a more significant role in developing programs for our clients. We are thrilled to have Erika join the Telecare team and look forward to her knowledge and contributions! Congratulations Erika Zimmerman!
