San Diego Judge and Officers Make Friendly Visits to Behavioral Health Court Members

In a time where it’s easy to feel physically isolated, a San Diego judge and two probation officers made some San Diego Behavioral Health Court (BHC) members feel a little less lonely.

Judge Davis, Officer Via, and Officer Mendoza visited six BHC sober living homes in the San Diego area. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the judge and the each of the probation officers drove separate vehicles to each of the sober living homes and remained at the curb level or comparable distance in order to maintain social distancing guidelines.

These visits allowed the members to meet Officer Mendoza, ask questions, and allowed for Judge Davis to speak directly to the members regarding our current crisis situation.

BHC members say they were grateful for the visits and the opportunity to talk directly to the judge and officers.
