Program Type: Crisis Residential

To Make Referrals: Referrals are coordinated by the Riverside University Health System-Behavioral Health (RUHS-BH) Assessment and Consultation Team, or other designees.

# of Beds: 16 beds

Who is Served: Adult residents of Riverside County, CA, ages 18-64, who have Riverside County Medi-Cal and are in an acute crisis mental health state. Clients are also often struggling because of their history of addiction, trauma, and chronic medical conditions.

Hours of Operation: Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

About the Program: At Lagos, we believe recovery starts from within, and that our job is to do whatever it takes to provide the support needed on your recovery journey in a comfortable, structured setting. Our 16-bed facility includes a full team of nurses, a psychiatrist, clinicians, peer specialists, and recovery specialists providing support 24 hours a day. Lagos staff strive to maintain a welcoming, safe, client-centered and respectful environment with the goal of stabilizing individuals who are in an acute crisis in order to provide an alternative to inpatient hospitalization.

At Lagos, peer support positions are included on all shifts and will make up 50% or more of the full-time employee headcount. The program’s peer-designated roles will include Peer Support Specialists, a Peer Recovery Educator, Peer Recovery Coaches, a Family Peer Support Specialist, and a Peer Team Lead.
