San Diego Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT)

Telecare’s San Diego Mobile Crisis Response Team, which opened in August 2021, has been hugely successful in delivering non-law enforcement crisis response to people all over San Diego County. The program has gained national recognition for its innovative model and is becoming known as a best practice for crisis response.

The San Diego MCRT program is now expanding and is gearing up to start delivering services more widely soon! We are hiring for all roles to build out this incredible team, especially licensed clinicians (MFTs, LCSWs, etc.).

CARE Court Programs

Telecare is excited to partner with San Diego County to open two CARE Court programs in October 2023. CARE Court is an innovative approach signed into legislation in 2022 by California Governor Gavin Newsom. It will help people not only get the care they need but get off the streets and into treatment and housing. Learn more about CARE Court here!

San Diego County is on the leading edge of implementing the CARE ACT and is among the first counties in the state to open CARE Court programs. Telecare is excited to partner with San Diego County to make this possible.

• CARE Court Outreach: a community-based team that will engage and connect people to services before they are mandated into care. 

• CARE Court ACT: a program that will deliver time-limited, community-based holistic support to people who have been mandated into Community, Assistance, Recovery, and Empowerment (CARE) or individuals who otherwise meet CARE criteria and agree to participate in these services.
